Room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber catalyst is a catalyst whose main function is to accelerate the vulcanization reaction of silicone rubber at room temperature and promote rubber curing and molding. Silicone rubber is a rubber product with high elasticity, high heat resistance, cold resistance and chemical stability. The use of room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber catalyst can increase the vulcanization speed and vulcanization degree of silicone rubber, so that silicone rubber can get better curing effect.
There are three commonly used room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber catalysts: metal catalysts, non-metallic catalysts and auxiliary catalysts.

1. Metal catalyst: The main component is organic metal compounds. The advantages of metal catalysts are fast vulcanization speed, good effect and small dosage, but they are easily affected by environmental factors and have a greater impact on the physical properties and chemical stability of silicone rubber.

2. Non-metal catalyst: The main component is organic peroxide, and the active group with catalytic effect is free radical. The advantage of non-metal catalysts is that there are fewer redox reactions during the vulcanization process, which will not affect the physical properties and chemical stability of silicone rubber, but a larger dosage is required.

3. Auxiliary catalyst: The main component is organic compounds, which are used to increase the vulcanization speed, improve the vulcanization process, and enhance the vulcanization effect of rubber. The advantage of auxiliary catalyst is that it can be used in combination with other catalysts to have a synergistic effect, but it also requires a certain amount.
