Main Use
1. Used in adhesives to increase bonding performance. The resins it is suitable for include epoxy, phenolic, melamine, polysulfide polyurethane, polystyrene, etc.
2. Improve the adhesion between inorganic fillers, substrates and resins, thereby improving the mechanical strength and electrical properties of composite materials, and have a higher retention rate in the wet state. As an inorganic filler surface treatment agent, it is widely used in clay, glass beads, talc, wollastonite, silica, quartz, aluminum powder, and iron powder.
3. This product is suitable for quartz-filled epoxy sealants, sand-filled epoxy concrete repair materials or coatings, and metal-filled epoxy molds.
4. Compared with 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (SF-S560), the methoxy group in the molecule of this product is replaced by ethoxy group, and it has lower reactivity.
